Christian Treatment Texas, a Christian Treatment Center
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?”1 Corinthians 3:16. For people suffering from the disease of addiction it is common to feel all alone, and misunderstood by the world. Addiction tends to cause isolation in people from family, friends and loved ones. Jobs may be lost; marriages and relationships can be destroyed as well as self esteem and self confidence. The lord Jesus Christ the Savior tells us that we are never separated from him, that he lives inside us. But sometimes the path and the way is forgotten. Christian Treatment Center Texas assists people with a Christian based twelve step program to heal physically, mentally and spiritually.
Some people are not willing or ready to admit that they have a problem with drugs and/or alcohol. They continue to tell themselves that everything is okay despite the negative consequences. Often times, family members and loved ones recognize that there is a problem first. But as long as the addicted person remains in denial, nothing can be solved. In these situations Texas Christian Substance Abuse Treatment has an Intervention Program to help families break through to loved ones
We invite you to call us at, toll free at 866-211-5538 or send an e-mail to talk with our help center and we can help you move forward.
The Christian Intervention Specialist will first meet up with the family and discuss the situation regarding the addicted person. Each family member will get a chance to express their feelings, care and concern along with their experiences dealing with the affected person. Then a meeting is set up between the family, Intervention Specialist, and said person. The Intervention Specialist mediates and provides information while the family expresses their concerns and fears. The meeting ends with informing the addicted person about Texas Christian Substance Abuse Treatment.

Once the patient has decided to come to treatment the detoxification process begins. Trained experienced professionals monitor patients to ensure safety and dispense medication when necessary. When a person’s body becomes accustomed to consuming a certain amount of drugs and/or alcohol and abruptly stops the body can go into shock and suffer from withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal symptoms may include but are not limited to: delirium tremors, seizures, muscle cramps and spasms, nausea and vomiting.
At Christian Substance Abuse Treatment there are different activities and forms of therapy. Patients are taken to church services throughout the week to help them reconnect with god and form a solid foundation. Bible study and scripture reading encourages patients to accept a new set of morals and teaches them to use them in everyday life. A pastor is available for guidance and direction.
Family members and loved ones are encouraged to attend family therapy sessions to help build a foundation in their recovery. These sessions take place in a safe atmosphere where the family members and the patient can express themselves in a positive manner and learn how to communicate with each other. The presence of god also helps solidify the family bond through faith and belief. The family who prays together has a better chance of continuing in their journey through recovery.
